MI intentions 2021

He did not die, he gave his life. Eightieth anniversary of the martyrdom of St. Maximilian Kolbe.

Edited by Fr. Sebastiano Quaglio (custodian of the Kolbian charism).

JANUARY
Because by accepting the message of the martyr of Auschwitz, we also try to be a light in the darkness of our world in need of hope.

FEBRUARY
Why Father Kolbe inspires us his solidarity attitudes in welcoming the sick and encouraging the afflicted, announcing Jesus, the source of life and hope.

MARCH
Because Lent is a favorable time for our transformation according to the criterion of love and solidarity, as St. Maximilian teaches us.

APRIL
Because the joy of the Risen One fills our heart and enables us to transmit his love.

MAY
Because the example offered by the Immaculate Conception stimulates us to be a living sign of the fruits of the Holy Spirit in this world.

JUNE
For the Eucharist to nourish our spirit and make us bearers of hope and signs of mercy.

JULY
Why St. Maximiliano and the Immaculate Conception, Mother of Love, teach us charity to be better people and authentic witnesses of Christian virtues.

AUGUST
Why love and self-surrender of St. Maximiliano is for every member of the MI stimulus for a total and unconditional donation to the Immaculate Conception.

SEPTEMBER
For our relationship with the Immaculate Conception to mature and become fundamental for our journey of holiness, following the example of St. Maximilian.

OCTOBER
Because we, members of the MI, understand the beauty of working for the salvation of men, assuming the "yes" pronounced by the Immaculate Conception with the ardor of Father Kolbe.

NOVEMBER
Because the Martyr of charity stimulates us to take on a radical witness of the Kingdom of God.

DECEMBER
Because the child Jesus attracts us with his tenderness and infuses the peace so necessary to the disillusioned hearts in need of the meaning of life.
