SUMMARY St. Maximilian M. Kolbe was certainly a brilliant student who graduated in Philosophy at the Pontifical Gregoriana University in Rome. His passion for Science during those years is widely documented. He attended several scientific classes with excellent results and studied also extensively on his own. His fascination with Astrophysics led him to work on creating a spacecraft prototype. We briefly discuss the scientific inclination and aptitude of the young Kolbe along with our preliminary investigation into the specifics of his "technological projects" and how he reconciled his love for Science with his greatest Love. |
