that we become able to discern and bring to maturation the "seeds of
the Word" present in the culture of our time

that we learn to witness to the joy and hope of the Risen Lord in the
daily gift of ourselves to our neighbor.

that the Holy Spirit make us capable of fervently communicating our faith
in Jesus.

that families feel supported by the Christian community in living their
vocation.

pass on to our youth the values of the interior life, love for Christ and
for His Gospel.

of St. Maximilian, we learn to respond to newly-emerging types of poverty
with new and original kinds of charity.

So that our ecclesial
Communities, thanks to the road of faith they have travelled, will become
ever more welcoming to the "non-practising".

So that we feel the duty
and the joy of participating in the mission of the Church to announce to
all peoples the Christ, the only Saviour of the world.

know they have reason to be hopeful in the experience of forgiveness which
is given and received.

So that the Nativity of
the Lord teach us to recognize in every human creature the presence of the
Incarnate Word and to restore dignity to those who have lost it.
